Dying Light DLC to Get a Number of New Improvements

A very “feature-heavy”, story-based expansion pack called The Following is on the way for Dying Light players.

The zombie game Dying Light is predicted to get a pretty big DLC expansion with the upcoming story-based expansion pack titled, The Following. It was recently rumored and now confirmed that The Following will allow players to utilize a dune buggy to travel and plow through zombies in the game. Techland claimed to have applied a lot of information from the various feedback they received on the game, making this DLC a hefty one.

“For Dying Light: The Following, we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion,” say Dying Light producer, Tymon Smektala, “Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all of the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing here.”

Smektala claimed he was very strict on making sure to adhere to what users had been saying in various feedback in order to make great improvements on the game. Users with the $20 Dying Light DLC pass will receive The Following for free, while those who do not own this subscription will be able to purchase the DLC for a price TBD. No release date has been revealed yet, but it is sure to be a very successful DLC since the game’s release in January 2015.
