Everyone’s favorite serial killer is back in a brand-new sequel series to the critically acclaimed Showtime series (or, at least the first five seasons). Dexter: New Blood sees the return of Dexter Morgan 10 years later in the small town of Iron Lake, New York. Now under the name Jim Lindsay (a slight reference to original author Jeff Lindsay), Dexter must face his past and the burden of his Dark Passenger once more. We had always hoped that the 8th season was not the end, after a lackluster 6th and 7th season, the 8th was a bit of a disaster that hurt almost as bad as Game of Thrones. Now Showtime and Dexter both finally get a shot at redemption in the eyes of fans when the show picks up later this fall.
