Meet your future HM slaves!
During the Nintendo Treehouse live E3 stream, we got another glimpse at the upcoming Pokémon games Sun and Moon, as well as our first look at some of the Pocket Monsters you’ll encounter early on in the game.
First up is Yungoos, a Normal-type Loitering Pokémon. Apparently its found on Route 1 of the new region Alola, so it’s probably the gen 6 equivalent of Rattata.
Next is Pikipek, a Normal/flying-type Woodpecker Pokémon. It’s definitely the new Pidgey/Hoothoot/Taillow, etc, but super cute name though.
Then there’s Grubbin, the Bug-type Larva Pokémon. Yep, it’s Caterpie.
All three, as well as the previously revealed Magearna can be seen in the trailer below.
While not officially revealed, two other new Pokémon were shown in the latest issue of CoroCoro Magazine.
They are Nekkoala, the Half Awake, Normal-type Pokémon, and Iwanko, and a Rock-type Pokémon (the puppy).
Both are adorable and pretty unique, so we’re kind of bummed they weren’t showcased in the new trailer.
Anyway, we’re still hyped for the our latest attempt at trying to catch ’em all.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon hit the 3DS on November 18.
