The MCU’s strongest superhero finally has an official release date, as well as some company.
Marvel Studio’s head confirmed Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel will not only be returning to the big screen in the fall of next year, but she’ll have company too. Adult Monica Rambeau who’s the grown-up daughter of Carol’s best friend Maria will be played by Teyonah Parris. Furthermore, the new superhero Ms. Marvel, played by Iman Vellani, will also be joining her on screen.
Director Nia DaCosta will be taking over directing duties for the sequel, which is now set to hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
