You have been a good boy. Have a lollipop!

It’s been over three years (oh my God I’m old) since it was announced that Big Hero 6 would be featured in Kingdom Hearts 3. We’ve seen a handful of new worlds unveiled since then, such as Monsters Inc., Frozen, and Pirates of the Caribbean, but Big Hero 6 was mysterious absent following its announcement.

However, the latest trailer for KH3 gave us our first glimpse at San Fransokyo, Baymax, and the rest of Big Hero 6. Check it out below.

In the trailer, Sora and the gang arrive in San Fransokyo to find that Heartless have invaded. An injured Go Go wipes out as Sora, Donald, and Goofy just watch (nice job guys), and are then introduced to Hiro and Baymax. When then shots of the rest of the team, as well as Baymax gearing up to fight with Sora.

After a few brief cutscenes from other worlds (including Randall from Monsters Inc.) we finally see some San Fransokyo gameplay. Sora uses this world’s keyblade transformation Nano Arms, which itself can transform into a glider, hammer, and bazooka cannon.

Baymax is also a party member during this fight. Hooray!

We then get our best look yet at Gummi Ship mission in KH3, with a montage of building and flight sequences. It really doesn’t look like too much has changed since the Gummi Ship missions in KH2, but mark my words, I will exclusively be flying in that creepy octopus ship.

Trailer wraps up with narration from Vanitas saying “Only when your hopes have been broken by battle upon battle, can the key to Kingdom Hearts be claimed.”

The trailer ends with a shot of Aqua consumed by darkness, which we now know means her clothes have turned black. It’s extremely goofy but I love it, and now she looks like how I dressed in middle school.

If you’re like me and thought this trailer was a little on the short side, you’re in luck! Game director Tetsuya Normura (via the official KH Twitter account) announced that a full version of the trailer will drop on the 18th, so stay hyped till then.

Update: Here’s the full trailer! Things are starting to lean into the spoilery territory, so watch at your own risk.

Kingdom Hearts 3 comes to PS4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019.
