[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]quare Enix has finally released Final Fantasy VII on Android. It had been previously available on the Apple Store, Steam, and the PS Store. It will cost $15.99 on the Google Play Store.
The Android version of the game will include many of the additions that were added in the Steam, IOS, and Playstation 4 versions of the game. Some of these additions include the ability to turn off enemy encounters and a max stats command to boost characters to the max level.
The Final Fantasy VII remake that everyone is not-so patiently waiting for still has no release date. The game is being rebuilt by the original creators, Tetsuya Nomura and Kazushige Nojima, so there is no telling how long the project will take. At least Square Enix gave us a semi-updated Final Fantasy VII to tide us over until the full remake is finished.
