HBO is going all in on their Game of Thrones franchise. The studio reportedly approved another prequel series based on the fantasy novellas written by George R. R. Martin. The hour-long series will follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon Targaryen (Egg).
The show will take place 90 years prior to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire, which was the first season of Game of Thrones. HBO has plenty of content to use for the show with Martin publishing three novellas. They are The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight.
