The New York Times has reported Disney is planning on several more Star Wars films with large budgets in additions to other ‘offerings’ online with the goal to strengthen Disney+.

While details are still scarce until the upcoming investory day presentation we do know directors Taika Waititi, Krysty Wilson-Cairns and Leslye Headland are all working on some sort of film or streaming series involved in the Star Wars universe.

As reported earlier, there is an animated The High Republic in the works along with rumors surrounding a Mandalorian spin-off centered around Boba Fett and Cara dune.

Stay tuned for more.
