The action film quickly became popular and has certainly acquired a large fan base. Now with John Wick 2 released, which many fans argue is better than the first film, everyone wants to know what Keanu is going to do next.
Of course, the two films that Keanu Reeves is most famous for, Bill & Ted and The Matrix, have always been the films that fans hope to receive a sequel. Keanu Reeves further added fuel to this fire during an interview with Yahoo! Movies when he was asked about reprising the role of Neo.
“The Wachowskis would have to be involved. They would have to write it and direct it. And then we’d see what the story is, but yeah, I dunno, that’d be weird, but why not? People die, stories don’t, people in stories don’t.”
If you recall the ending to The Matrix Revolutions, Neo sacrificed his life to bring peace between the machines and humans. However, the Oracle did say that she believed that Neo would return one day and this is Keanu Reeves we are talking about, he can do anything.
