AC II, Brotherhood, and Revelations could be heading to current gen consoles. Â
Three classic entries in the Assassin’s Creed series may be on there way to PS4 and Xbox One.
In a listing on the Korean Game Rating board (spotted via NeoGAF), a title dubbed Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is set for rating certification, indicating it may be coming to the current console lineup.
A collection sporting a similar title, Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Trilogy, which complied Assassin’s Creed II (2009), Brotherhood (2010), and Revelations (2011), was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. Obviously, each game in the collection featured the Renaissance era assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze as the main playable character.Â
If this collection happens, which is very likely if it is being rated, we’d imagine the games featured will receive the remaster treatment of spruced up performance and visuals.Â
And if we had to bet, this collection will probably hit stores this fall, as no new Assassin’s Creed game is coming out this year. The series is taking a break, but is rumored to return in 2017 with a new entry taking place in ancient Egypt.Â
What we are getting this year though is the film adaption of Assassin’s Creed, starring Michael Fassbender, and hitting theaters on December 21. Get hyped.
