Producer Brian Grazer took to Bill Simmons’ podcast recently to talk about his career, working alongside Ron Howard, his new show Empire, and his new book…
Oh, and he nonchalantly mentioned something about making more episodes of Arrested Development.
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]e’ve known for quite some time that a second helping of Arrested Development would eventually be coming to Netflix, we just didn’t know when. Obviously this isn’t an official press release from Netflix, but it IS one of the show’s main executive producers blatantly telling us to “stay tuned” for more episodes. 17 if we’re quoting him correctly.
Everybody get your chicken dances ready, the Bluth’s are coming back. Hopefully with less schedule conflicts and no green-screens this time.
Check out the interview with Brian Grazer below. The AD announcement starts around the 24:20 mark.

It seems like such a low-key way to tell the world about something so awesome. Either way, there you have it, 17 more episodes of Arrested Development will be making their way to Netflix sometime in the near future.
As for news on shooting schedule or which cast members are set to return, we’ll probably have to keep waiting for those announcements to be casually mentioned on some other random podcast.
