Starring in this thrilling installment are esteemed actors Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes, who are set to bring their talent to the continuation of the popular “28 Days Later” and “28 Weeks Later” series.

Penned by the renowned screenwriter Alex Garland, plot details for the eagerly anticipated screenplay are being closely guarded. However, it has been revealed that “28 Years Later” will be part of an upcoming trilogy, with discussions underway for Nia DaCosta to direct the second film.

Boyle and Garland are on board as producers, alongside original producer Andrew Macdonald and Peter Rice. Bernie Bellew is also tapped for production duties. Additionally, Cillian Murphy returns as an executive producer, although his role in the cast is yet to be confirmed.
