From the Green Goblin to……?
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hile I’m sure all the fans of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies wish they could see Willem Dafoe return to his role as the Green Goblin and appear in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, the actor has been picked up by Zack Snyder to appear in his next upcoming project, DC’s Justice League.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willem Dafoe will be taking on the role of an unannounced good guy in Justice League parts one and two. In addition to Willem Dafoe appearing in the film, Superman (Henry Cavill), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) will be returning to work together and take down an unknown threat. A lot of hints from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have pointed to Darkseid being the main supervillain but Warner Bros. has remained fairly quiet about everything thus far.
Justice League: Part One hits theaters November 17th, 2017 and Justice League: Part Two will arrive in theaters on June 14th, 2019.
