A mention of the game was found on an employee’s resume- should we expect the reveal at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo?
After the release of Watch Dogs in May, 2014, many have been wondering if the game was getting a sequel and if so, when it would be released. It is becoming more and more clear that the wait may soon be over. Although Watch Dogs 2 has not been officially announced, it is becoming known that the project is in development.
The image above shows a senior gameplay programmer’s LinkedIn profile that includes Watch Dogs 2 under projects. The image, found by Videogamer, does not provide any actual information on the game but it does give hope that it is currently in production. The programmer has since removed the reference from their profile and Ubisoft has declined to make any comments.
The best place for Ubisoft to announce this game would be at E3, which will be held from June 16th-18th in LA, but they have not yet announced their plans for the convention at this time.
