The show is called Powerless and while no release date has been confirmed just yet, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to guess that NBC will air the show this coming fall.
Vanessa Hudgens will play the role of Emily Locke, an insurance claims adjuster who takes pride in helping those less fortunate than her in a world filled with superheroes and villains who make not only her job but her life increasingly stressful. Powerless marks Vanessa Hudgens’ first main performance role in a television comedy and if her past history is any indicator you can be sure that this could be one successful television show for NBC.
