Phil Spencer took to Twitter to let fans know when more backwards compatible games are coming.
It looks like some of you will have to wait a little longer to play your old 360 games.
Last week on Twitter, Xbox boss Phil Spencer teased that more 360 games would become compatible with Xbox One this week, however, Spencer has since gone on to apologize for his previous tweet, and say that this backwards compatibility news is delayed.
@kevcampbell I apologize. Looks like BC news is delayed and will likely come next week. Again, sorry for the delay.

While definitely a bummer, this news really only applies to a small group, as backwards compatibility is currently only available on Xbox One for the Preview Program members.
Announced during this year’s E3, backwards compatibility will be available for everyone this November, with over 100 360 games planned to work at launch.
As both Microsoft and game developers determine which old games are compatible for Xbox One, a poll was posted asking which 360 games fans want to see become compatible. The top 3 games were Black Ops 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Skyrim. You can see the full list here.
Microsoft continues to show that it cares about its fans and the community of gamers that support their products. Spencer in particular has been great about communicating with fans about what’s next for Xbox, this tweet being a good example.
Now if only a certain other console could receive backwards compatibility (cough…Playstation…cough).
