Earlier today, various PlayStation social media accounts shared the first official trailer for UNCHARTED. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, the film stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Whalberg as Sully in a story that takes place years before the first game. And while the movie isn’t something we need as the games from Naughty Dog were cinematic enough in their own right, the trailer below does look like its filled with action and fun, if nothing more. Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.
UNCHARTED stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
