Chloe, Cutter, and Eddy Raja return! (In multiplayer, at least.)
At the Playstation press conference during Paris Games Week, Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra took to the stage and officially announced the multiplayer mode for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Multiplayer mode for the upcoming sequel, which has been a staple to the action-adventure series since Uncharted 2, is going to be revamped with new features like sidekicks, where one can call on an NPC player for help, and “mysticals,” special bonus attacks based on the supernatural elements of prior Uncharted games.
Check out the multiplayer mode trailer below:
The trailer for multiplayer reveals that classic Uncharted supporting characters like Chloe, Cutter, and Eddy Raja will be playable online. This is significant because these characters haven’t been confirmed to appear in the game’s main campaign, and we pray Eddy shows up.
This highly anticipated game is set to release next spring, but if you want to try out the multiplayer mode before then, there will be a beta available on the PSN from December 4 through 13.
If you missed out on the multiplayer from previous Uncharted games, we highly recommend you try it out this December. The mode is just as fan and frantic as the campaigns are.
Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End hits PS4 on March 18, 2016.
