[dropcap size=small]U[/dropcap]bisoft recently released a brand new trailer for Far Cry 4 with the dastardly delectable Pagan Min as the focus.
While the villain of the upcoming Far Cry release was the subject of much conversation and excitement when the premier trailer launched, we haven’t known much about the flamboyant, psychopathic King of Kyrat.
Pagan Min started working for his father, who was a mid-level drug boss in the Hong Kong based Golden Triangle. Pagan wanted more and resented his father for not pushing higher through the ranks; they constantly clashed. After Pagan’s father died a mysteriously unnatural death, Pagan began to grow and flourish as he saw fit.
After a short time, Pagan had built himself a large private army and considerable wealth. He had angered his colleagues in the heroin business through his rapid and unconventional rise to power and knew it was a matter of time before the old guard of the Golden Triangle ordered him killed. This is when he discovers the failing monarchy of Kyrat.
Pagan goes in and props up the government by finding a new heir to Kyrat’s throne, supplying him weapons and soldiers to defeat opposition. Once all is settled, Pagan murders the king and takes the throne for himself.
Pagan Min rules with the iron fist of insanity, flair, and style. He slaughtered all opposition that arose during his coup and now only the Golden Path remain as an opposing faction. This is the colorful and vibrant background players will be dropped into in this installment of the Far Cry franchise.
Far Cry 4 will be available October 18th on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
