The Transformers gets some confirmed movie additions in the next decade.
Each year, MIP Junior holds a conference to discuss a variety of different children’s programming. I know in my case, I have really never heard much about the conference given I don’t tune into Cartoon Network anymore, but this year the conference brought some news that has excited Transformers fans.
Hasbro executive producer, Stephen Davis was in attendance and he confirmed some upcoming animated and live action films for the Transformers. Davis revealed that writers over at Hasbro have been hard at work with planning upcoming Transformers content. After about three months of planning, it was finally announced that there would not only be an animated continuation of Transformers: Prime, but also the robots would be getting a 5th film in the near future with films 6,7, and 8 in the next ten years!
The continuation of the animated series, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, is claimed to have put together various kids’ opinions on the show to help increase viewers. The so-called “Writers’ Room” in charge of all of this is said to be working on Transformers content until the year 2025. The keynote announcement of the Transformer news can be found below.
