Earlier today, reports started coming in that Matt Reeves would be looking to skip over Batman’s first year as the Caped Crusader, and will instead be focusing on a Batman with more experience.
According to The Wrap, Reeves’ The Batman will be a very personal” story about Batman instead of a retelling of another origin story. Warner Bros has not provided any confirmation on this, but we do know that with the recent reveal of Pattinson in the Batsuit, it looks like a somewhat technical and advanced version of Wayne’s initial suit, which was less of a Batsuit and more like a heavy-duty bodysuit.
No further plot details are known at this time.
The Batman comes to theaters on June 25, 2021.
