Long story short: the X-Men look kinda screwed.
If you watched the Superbowl last night, you got a first hand look at the new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer.
And if you didn’t, here it is for your viewing pleasure.
The new trailer showed some epic destruction as hundreds of missiles were being launched and cars and buildings are disintegrating all over, probably due to Apocalypse, who is played by Oscar Isaac. We also got our first look of Psylocke, portrayed by Olivia Munn, in action as she slices through a car with a sword. Later in the trailer, Angel is seen fighting Nightcrawler, which is another first look at the character in action.
Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique rallies the X-Men by saying “Let’s go to war” but then is seen at the end of the trailer being choked out by Apocalypse. Seems to have been a poor idea on her part.
X-Men: Apocalypse stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, and Lucas Till and hits theaters May 27th.
