Warner Bros. has confirmed the rumors that have been swirling around regarding their upcoming film based on the DC Comics villain team. Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto have officially been announced to star in the film.
Will Smith will play Deadshot, Tom Hardy will play Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn, and Jared Leto will step into the role of The Joker. In addition to the all-star cast, Jai Courtney (Divergent) will play Boomerang and Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina) will play Enchantress.
Eh, close enough.
Suicide Squad follows a ragtag team of super villains turned anti-heroes, who undertake high risk black-ops missions for the U.S. government in exchange for clemency.

This cast is pretty spectacular. I wonder what relation this would have to Batman v Superman? Though undoubtedly years after, I would assume.
Curious to see how these characters appear on screen with no featured heroes. Affleck could likely make an appearance.
