The latest news on the Star Wars: Episode VII casting front is that Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher’s daughter, is set to make an appearance.
Rumor has it that the Episode VII script features the progeny of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo, so it might be safe to assume that Lourd could simply be playing Leia’s daughter. Currently, we have no idea as to what part she’ll actually be playing, it’s possible that it’ll just be a small cameo.
Seeing as she has never been in a film before, landing Star Wars: Episode VII as her first gig is an awesome way to start. I’m sure being Leia’s real-life daughter helped a bit.
Star Wars: Episode VII stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max Von Sydow, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. Written by Lawrence Kasdan and J. J. Abrams, and directed by J. J. Abrams. In theaters December 18, 2015.
