Battlefront is almost here! So is the Apocalypse, apparently.

While today we celebrate the release of Fallout 4, a week from now, Star Wars Battlefront will take center stage in the collective minds of gamers and fans of a galaxy far, far away.

EA and DICE are currently hyping up their new game as much as possible through a plethora of new trailers, the most notable being live-action ones.

In fact, a new live-action Battlefront trailer featuring Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick just launched.

Check it out below.

If it isn’t too obvious, the trailer is playing off the famous scene from A New Hope where Obi-Wan is struck down by Vader and becomes one with the Force.

Obi-Wan of course isn’t completely gone, as he becomes a Force ghost who provides exposition in the following films.

Anyway, even though we love Anna Kendrick, we can’t help but think that something was lost in translation with this trailer.

While the “body disappearing and clothes dropping” imagery is iconic Star Wars, the trailer overplays this to the point of goofiness.

The message of the trailer shifts from “Battlefront will whisk you way to another world” to “Rapture is coming, be prepared.”

Ok, maybe that’s a little much, so let’s give credit where it is due.

The trailer is still effective at showing the massive appeal of Star Wars, and how it doesn’t matter what your gender, age or race is; Star Wars is something anyone can love.

Plus, the gameplay shown at the end looks incredible, and we cannot wait to die and go to Battlefront heaven. We’re coming, Anna!

Star Wars Battlefront comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17.
