This last December marked the 20th Anniversary of the Playstation 1. Sony had announced that they would make a special edition version of the PS4. The design has a familiar silver/gray finish and the original logo displayed on the DuelShock 4 controller. Small 20s and Playstation button symbols are displayed on the touch pad if you look closely.
Sony will restart competition and asks that all calendar codes be resubmitted to determine winners. All contestants that lost their codes can enter their hardware serial number and the company will cross check the numbers to see if the item was bought during contest period.
There was no explanation on how the list was erased, but the company assures that no user information was compromised.
