[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]ony will be hosting a four-hour event focusing on its virtual reality system, Project Morpheus, at the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco on March 3.
The presentation will be the longest and most in-depth that Sony has offered thus far. It will include hands-on demos with the headset, along with an update on the future of VR with the company.
The system was originally set for release in June 2014 but Shuhei Yoshida, Head of Worldwide Studios, said, “We have a good system. People enjoy the Morpheus demo, but it’s not enough. It’s coming close, but there isn’t enough in terms of creating real experiences with a sense of presence.”
