[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he upcoming biopic based around the life and times of Steve Jobs, has found its Steve Wozniak in comedic actor Seth Rogen, reports Variety.
Joining Christian Bale as the eccentric genius behind the success of tech giant, Apple Inc., the casting news of Rogen as Wozniak may come as a shock to some (like us for example), as it doesn’t really seem to be within the actors typical wheelhouse after being typecast in mostly stoner films, or films where he smokes copious amounts of pot. Come to think of it, the most serious role Seth Rogen has had has been in Judd Apatow’s 2009 dramatic comedy ‘Funny People’ opposite of cinema terrorist Adam Sandler.

Steve Wozniak and Jobs started Apple in the late 1970s in the garage of Job’s parents’ house prior to launching Apple in 1984.
The biopic comes from Sony under Award-Wining Director Danny Boyle (28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire) with the script from Aaron Sorkin. The film stars Christian Bale as Steve Jobs and Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak. No release date has been set.
