Marvel Studios has a massive line-up of content in the MCU waiting to hit theaters and televisions the world over. And with Phase 4 about to wrap up with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Wakanda Forever (unless we are forgetting a show or two), Phase 5 is right around the corner.

Earlier today, in Hall H at SDCC, Marvel Studios held their panel where they announced a bunch of new shows and movies, along with adjusted release dates for many old and new. Below, you will find what was announced, much of which you may know a thing or two about already, along with a lot of new stuff coming over the next couple of years.

Further below, you will find our timeline consisting of what remains of Phase 4, what is coming in Phase 5, and what will arrive after in Phase 6. And while we don’t know everything, this is everything we do know from today’s announcements as well as what was told to us in the past.

NOTE: There is a lot of information here and I desperately tried to get it 100% right. If you notice anything off or missing, let me know in the comments below.

As you can see above, the titles of the next two Avengers films were revealed as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (May 2, 2025) and Avengers: Secret Wars (Nov 7, 2025) along with their release dates. In addition to these two superhero ensemble films, which will likely be akin to Infinity War and its follow-up in Endgame, a more fleshed-out Phase 5 was revealed with a handful of titles slotted for Phase 6.

Regarding what was touched on today, here is what we know about some new movies, sequels, and their release dates:

Blade – Nov 3, 2023

Captain America: New World Order – May 3, 2024

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. – May 5, 2023

Thunderbolts – July 26, 2024

Fantastic Four – Nov 8, 2024

As for the shows, we have a much wider lineup of content including Secret Invasion (Spring 2023), Echo (Summer 2023), Loki Season 2 (Summer 2023), Ironheart (Fall 2023), Agatha: Coven of Chaos (which got a name change from ‘House of Harkness’ – Winter 2023), and of course, most excitingly, Daredevil: Born Again (Spring 2024). Many of these we had heard of already but they all add to what is amounting to a huge library of content on Disney+. We just hope they are good.

Right now, we are currently in Phase 4 with a handful of the shows and films above being a part of MCU’s Phase 5 and Phase 6. So, including what was touched upon today in addition to the current lineup that we already knew, here is your expected timeline up to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars which release in 2025:

PHASE 4

I Am Groot – August 10, 2022

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – August 17, 2022

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – November 11, 2022

Hard to believe that is all that remains of Phase 4. I could have sworn there was a show or two coming out before Phase 5 begins with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

PHASE 5

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023

Secret Invasion – Spring 2023

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023

Echo – Summer 2023

Loki Season 2 – Summer 2023

The Marvels – July 28, 2023

Blade – November 3, 2023

Ironheart – Fall 2023

Agatha: Coven of Chaos – Winter 2023/2024

Daredevil: Born Again – Spring 2024

Captain America: New World Order – May 3, 2024

Thunderbolts – July 26, 2024

PHASE 6

Fantastic Four – Nov 8, 2024

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty – May 2, 2025

Avengers: Secret Wars – Nov 7, 2025

UNKNOWN PHASE

Phase 4 and Phase 5 are jam-packed with movies and streamable tv shows with only a few sprinkled into Phase 6 so far. There are a handful of Disney+ series that have been confirmed but given no release date including Armor Wars and another select few shows that are expected to get a second season like What If… in 2023. Then there is Marvel Zombies to which, well, we have no idea where that fits in these Phases exactly. Then the animated series, Spider-Man: Freshman Year  and its second season Sophomore Year. That series, while technically a prequel, will undoubtedly set up or tie into later Phases of the MCU, especially when we see Tom Holland return in Spider-Man 4 some day.

In addition to all the shows and their next seasons, there are also a handful of films being developed but have been given no official release date including Shang-Chi 2, Spider-Man 4, Doctor Strange 3, Deadpool 3, and likely others, possibly involving a mutant or two but those are only rumors for now.

All of this and so much more is coming from Marvel Studios and we can expect that this will all play into something much, much bigger in what they are calling the “Multiverse Saga”.
