RDJ looks worse for the wear in pictures taken with fans.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Marvel Cinematic Universe will finish off its second set of films, titled “Phase Two,” this weekend with the release of Ant-Man. While the pint-sized picture starring Paul Rudd is highly anticipated, perhaps what film Marvel fans are looking forward to more is the first “Phase Three” film, Captain America: Civil War.
Civil War is currently being filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, and it appears some lucky fans got to meet Robert Downey Jr, aka Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, while on the shoot.
These fans are from Blaxican Food Truck, and their encounter was posted to their Twitter.

A couple interesting things to notice in these pictures. What is most obvious is that Stark is clearly bruised and scared. One can easily assume a battle, or aftermath of one, was just filmed. But the question then raised is whom was he fighting?
Another interesting thing is that Stark is not in his Iron Man armor. Was Stark attacked off guard? Or was an ally to blame for his injuries? So many questions!
While these set photos raise more questions than answers, we do know a few things about the upcoming film. Civil War will draw inspiration from the 2006-2007 comic storyline of the same name, which saw Iron Man and Captain America violently conflicted over a Superhero Registration Act. The storyline involved a plethora of classic characters, and brought major changes to the Marvel Universe. It’s safe to assume this film will do the same.
Anthony and Joe Russo are directing the film, and nearly every Avenger will co-star with Cap and Tony. As evident from these pictures, expect the Avengers to get battered and bruised; at least a little.
Captain America: Civil War will be in theaters May 6, 2016.
