M-m-Morty, Morty, check out these <burp> mods.
No Man’s Sky is finally here! While the resource-mining/space exploration game has captivated many, we know some may not be too thrilled with what the title currently has to offer.
Luckily, that’s where mods come in to play. PC gamers have the opportunity to download a variety of mods to tweak the game’s features and aesthetics. Below are a few fun mods to mess around with in No Man’s Sky.
Cel-Shaded Graphics
Want a more Borderlands looking universe to explore? This is the mod for you. Created by KeriaGaming, this mod edits some visual effects in the game to create a colorful cel-shaded aesthetic. You can check out the mod here.
Super Hyperdrive
Dubbed as “proof of concept,” this mod by Atomicinf can boost the speed of your hyperdrive by a factor of up to 1000. Basically, this mod will eliminate all difficulty in the game and help you reach the center of the universe in a snap…if it doesn’t tear a hole in the fabric of time and space. This mod can be downloaded here.
Trainer Mod
Speaking of eliminating difficulty; the trainer mod. Think of this mod as the No Man’s Sky GameShark, as it basically provides you with a bunch of cheat codes that give you all you need to survive and thrive in the galaxy. We’re talking infinite health, stamina, units, you name it. If you don’t care about playing the game the way it was intended, this mod is for you. Learn more about it here.
Rick and Morty
And finally is the Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub-iest mod of them all. This mod provides wacky sound bytes and icon image replacements that feature Rick and Morty. Yeah it’s pretty simple and goofy, but awesome nonetheless. Check it out here.
