Because why not!

[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]acebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is looking for someone to voice his new artificial assistant and he may have the found the perfect match.

While trying to come up with ideas he posted on Facebook who he should ask to voice his new AI, which he has named Jarvis. While he got many replies and suggestions one stuck out. Robert Downey Jr answered the call in classic RDJ fashion. “I’ll do it in a heartbeat if Bettany gets paid and donates it to a cause of Cumberbatch’s choosing…that’s the right kind of STRANGE,” posted Downey Jr.

The Bettany he is referring to is Paul Bettany, better known for his role as the voice of Jarvis and Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Cumberbatch is of course Benedict Cumberbatch who will be playing Dr. Strange in the upcoming movie Doctor Strange.

While this is a very fun gesture, what Zuckerberg is trying to create is also very noteworthy. His goal is to essentially create Jarvis from Iron Man, his exact words, so he can control most of the things in his house (lights, temperature, etc) by just voice control. He also wants it to be able to open the door for friends who ring the doorbell using facial recognition!

Hopefully everything works out for Zuckerberg so we can all have an RDJ voiced Jarvis in our homes.
