If you preorder the PS4 version of the upcoming God of War III it comes with some PS Now rentals.
[dropcap size=small]L[/dropcap]ooks like Sony is giving you a chance to catch-up if you haven’t played the GoW series by allowing fans to play the first two games via some free PS Now rentals if you preorder. So whether you are playing for the first time, or you just want to relive some epic battles with an old friend, you can be ready when the remastered version of God of War III launches in July.
For all of you who do preorder GoW III, either at a retail store or via the PSN, you will receive the Fall of Olympus dynamic theme with the game at launch. If you preordered the game and you live in North America, you will not only get the theme song on May 26 (3 weeks before the game launch), you will also get access to a 90-day Playstation Now rental of God of War and God of War II.
Sony hasn’t specifically said anything, but the only versions of the first two games on the PSN are the PS3 remastered versions. The third game ties directly to the first two games, and though you are playing a PS3 version of the games on your PS4, the fact is they are still beautiful games and you get to play them for free.
God of War III Remastered for PS4 will be released July 14 for $40, preorders can be made now.
