Get ready Trainers, Pokémon: The Johto Journeys in its entirety comes to DVD for the first time today.
VIZ Media will release the 41-episode third season of the long-running Pokémon anime in a four disc set, making this the first time that Johto Journeys is completely available on home video.
The set will retail at $44.82 U.S. and $51.99 CAN.
In this season, Ash, Misty and Brock travel to the Johto region of the Pokémon world, just as you might of if you played Pokémon Gold or Silver (get ready to feel old) 15 years ago on the Gameboy Color.
The season first aired on Saturday mornings during Kids’ WB! from 2000-2001, succeeding Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands. Now do you feel old?
Johto Journeys features some of the more memorable moments of the entire series, including the debut of Jessie’s Wobbuffett, Ash capturing Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, as well as the departure of Charizard (tears).
