2016 is now 1998.
During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, AND Pokémon Yellow are coming to the 3DS.
The original three Pokémon games will be available through the 3DS Virtual Console service.
More importantly, trading and battling will be possible through wireless communications, so no link cable is necessary!
There was no word if Pokémon Bank compatibility is coming for these classic titles, but we hope so.
Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow will come to 3DS eShop on February 27, 2016. Trainers rejoice!
