Earlier today, the official Pokemon Twitter account posted that there will be a video presentation with updates on the upcoming open-world games, Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet. Not much was shared, if anything, but we suspect that the upcoming livestream will reveal more details on what fans are expecting from the next generation of Pokemon games.

No further details were provided in the post or any follow-ups but Wednesday will be here before you know it. And when the time comes, you can head over to The Official Pokemon YouTube channel where the event will be streamed live in less than 48 hours from the time of this posting.
We still have a lot we do not know about Scarlet and Violet but after being teased as a truly “open-world” game, we can’t wait to find out more. With a new region, new features, and plenty of new Pokemon, this could be one of the most significant entries in the franchise in years.
While we do not want to get our hopes up yet, we really want Pokemon to live up to its potential and take one step closer to reaching Breath of the Wild in size and scope. Perhaps Wednesday with shed a little more light on that subject and make our dreams a reality.
