After a very lengthy and active voting process, the Pokemon GO community has made their voices heard for the next Community Day. In a couple of weeks, Rhyhorn will take the day after beating out a handful of other pocket monsters, including Vulpix, Machop, and Dratini (Machop and Dratini both already have shinies within the game- Dratini even having previously had a Community Day of its own). After the Community Day event featuring Rhyhorn, Vulpix will be the only Pokemon of this competition to not have a shiny variant of its own.

Trainers,
Thank you for all your efforts campaigning and voting for the Pokémon you wanted featured on February Community Day. We are pleased to announce that the winner is…
Rhyhorn!
Don’t forget! During Community Day, you can evolve Rhyhorn into Rhyperior for the exclusive attack Rock Wrecker. And if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Rhyhorn!
Congrats to everyone who voted for this Pokémon! The Community Day featuring the winning Pokémon will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The featured bonus will be 3× Catch Stardust. Per an earlier update, Community Day for Trainers in the northern hemisphere will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time, while in the southern hemisphere, it will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
Thank you for taking part in this new kind of event. We’ll be evaluating this ongoing experiment and taking any insights into account for the next Community Day.
Have fun during Community Day!
