Olivia Munn is the latest to be cast in the upcoming Days of Future Past sequel. Is she teasing her costume on Instagram?

[dropcap size=small]M[/dropcap]lunn posted a photo to her Instagram account that appears to be teasing a costume of sorts. Though Olivia Munn is known amongst the cosplay and geek community, there is no certainty that this photo has anything to do with her latest comic book role. Keeping in mind that her costume will likely be accompanied by plenty of computer generated imagery, this basic under-portion of her costume could just be the base of her overall appearance in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film, being directed by Bryan Singer. Take a look for yourself below.

A Little About Psylocke:

Initially a character that appeared in comics featuring Captain Britain (her twin brother in the fiction), Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock first joined the X-Men in 1986. Bringing her unique mutant powers that include telepathy, precognitive sight, and later telekinesis, Betsy then acquired and took over the body of a ninja named Kwannon along with her unique ninja talents. You’ll just have to read the comics to make sense of all that.

Psylocke appeared as a supporting character, albeit mostly in the background of X-Men the Last Stand.

Olivia Munn started as a co-host on Attack the Show! before becoming a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. She has since appeared in several films and been a series regular and core cast member of HBO’s The Newsroom

Olivia Munn is the latest to join X-Men: Apocalypse, which already includes the likes of Sophie Turner who will portray a younger Jean Grey, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, and Alexandra Shipp as Storm. Channing Tatum will take over as Gambit, a role first portrayed by Taylor Kitsch in the mediocre film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Oscar Isaac also joins the cast as the titular villain Apocalypse. Directed by Bryan Singer, XMA is set for release on May 27, 2016.
