Take your first look at Magiana.
[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]arly this morning it was reported by Serebii that the newest CoroCoro cover had been released and featured the silhouette of a brand new Pokémon. Later in the morning the first official image of Magiana hit the internet.
Magiana is classified as a Man-Made Pokémon and has not had any typing revealed yet but going its appearance, a good guess would be Fairy/Steel. The text in the image says it was ‘made by human hands’ over 500 years ago. It was also revealed that the newest Pokémon movie starring Volcanion and now Magiana is titled Volcanion and the Exquisite Mechanical Magiana.
Many are speculating whether or not Magiana is a Pokémon from generation 7 or if it is just a new Pokémon from the Kalos region. One opinion many share is that the next game in generation 6 will focus on the southern half of Kalos, as X and Y only featured the northern half. This will bring with it new Pokémon and hopefully new gym leaders and maybe a new Pokémon league. This is completely speculation though.
Due to this huge release, it should be expected for some sort of announcement for Pokémon Z or whatever the new game is called in the near future. Fingers crossed.
