Danny Boyle isn’t all too worried about making Fassbender look like Steve Jobs.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Steve Jobs biopic directed by Danny Boyle (127 Hours) and based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography began filming in January. The first images of Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak have already surfaced, but the 90’s style NeXT Computers add image is still new.
The picture shows Fassbender recreating the famous NeXT add, the computer company that Jobs founded after he had left Apple in 1985. In 1996 the company was later acquired by Apple, which brought Jobs back to the company he had started.
The picture was posted to Reddit late last Monday night, and it doesn’t look like anyone is gonna mix these two up any time soon. Although, there has already been a Steve Jobs film with an actor who looks just like him, we don’t see people breaking down the doors telling us how great Ashton Kutcher’s Jobs is.
Boyle’s film, which co-stars Seth Rogen and Kate Winslet, hits theaters in 2016.
