The city of angels: Los Santos.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]hree years ago, we were blessed with another Grand Theft Auto game, ‘GTA V: Los Santos’. As always this game brought controversy, but this situation was a little out of the ordinary. Apparently, GTA is more reality than fiction than we could have ever imagined. As we know, Los Santos is a depiction of Los Angeles. A certain piece of blended reality in the game is the Hookah Palace. In reality, this is the Figueroa Hotel. GTA games have used versions of real life cities, and real landmarks before so no big deal, right? Well, not in this case. On June 29th, The Figueroa Hotel’s website had a picture of downtown L.A., or so they thought.
Downtown Los Santos on the Hotel’s Website
The hotel accidentally mistook a picture of downtown Los Santos for real life Los Angeles. I mean, we’ve all taken GTA seriously at one point, but this is ridiculous. Was it really a mistake or was an employee just playing a prank? Who knows, but since this was posted, the website has fixed the mistake and put up a picture of downtown L.A.
