Let’s hope that we will see some of our favorite mutants from past X-Men films as guest stars.

[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]ox is taking another big step with their X-Men franchise and has ordered a pilot for one of Stan Lee’s greatest creations. While we don’t know if the show will take place in the same universe as the X-Men films or FX’s Legion, we do know that the pilot episode will be written by Matt Nix who created USA’s hit show Burn Notice. Executive producers for the pilot episode are Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.

As of right now, there is no title for the live-action X-Men television show. The only details that have been released are that the show will revolve around a couple and their mutant child who join an underground mutant network as they continue to evade the government. With a central story like this, Matt Nix should have plenty of material from the comics to create a spectacular show that will hopefully do the Stan Lee’s creation justice.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
