TT Games has surprised us all with their answer to Minecraft. Lego Worlds is their new online multiplayer world-building game that is available to play now.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he developers of the Lego franchise, TT Games, has announced Lego Worlds, their version of an online multiplayer world-building game and answer to Minecraft. Although there was very little build-up or media buzz about the game, just by watching the trailer you know it’s going to be epic.
A beta version of Lego Worlds can be played now on Steam Early Access, and being an Early Access game the developers encourage players to leave feed back to insure that only the best will be delivered. Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive says,
“LEGO Worlds will be a fully open-world, creativity-driven game so we want to ensure that we provide it with the utmost care and attention as we expand on our ideas. So much of this game will be about building and sharing and by sharing our plans with the community, we hope to incorporate their feedback and build an experience together that fans of Lego and this genre of video games can enjoy.”
Steam Early Access also said on their page that Lego Worlds will be in Early Access through 2015, by then they say “we hope to have our full list of features in place.” It goes on to say,
“We’ll evaluate a release candidate in early 2016,but we won’t consider the game complete and ready for release until we believe our community feels we have delivered a great game.”
Lego Worlds in available to play now on Steam Early Access until the end of the year, but no release date for the full game has been announced as of yet.
