Here’s when and where you can pick up the latest mythical mon.
Just before Pokémon Sun and Moon launch this November, you’ll be able to download the 721st Pocket Monster, Volcanion.
Starting this October, you can pick up a download code card for Volcanion, the legendary Fire/Water type, at participating Gamestop stores. Volcanion can be added to your collection on Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire. The event will last from October 10-31, 2016.
Volcanion will be at level 70, and knows the following moves: Steam Eruption, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, and Explosion.
We first officially learned about Volcanion this past December. It wasn’t in the Pokédex for the 3DS entries of the series, but hackers outed its existence long before it was officially revealed.
This distribution event also ties into the latest Pokémon film, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, which is set to debut in the US later this year.
