Paramount Pictures has pushed back the film to 2016 due to less contest for viewers.
[/dropcap size=small]P[/dropcap]aramount Pictures has decided to push back The Ring, the sequel to the successful supernatural, psychological horror movie that was released back in 2002, to 2016. Originally, the film would have gone up against the highly anticipated films like the Chilean miners drama The 33 and the comedy Love the Coopers.
The sequel, called Rings, is directed by Before the Fall‘s F. Javier Gutiérrez and will star the new actors Matilda Lutz and Alex Roe. Johnny Galecki, famous for his role as Dr. Leonard Hofstadter in The Big Bang Theory will also star in the film. The film will take place 13 years after the events that transpired in the first film.
Rings will be released some time early in 2016.
