Villains are the point of focus in the latest trailer for Gotham’s sophomore season.
Everyone loves villains, and more specifically, everyone loves the Joker.
Despite his enormous popularity, The Clown Prince of Crime didn’t actually appear in the first season of Gotham, rather his origins are heavily hinted at through the character Jerome Valeska, a young man who appears in the episode “The Blind Fortune Teller” from last season.
Well, it’s safe to say that Valeska will indeed eventually become the Joker, especially after watching the latest trailer for Gotham season two.

As the title and content suggests, we are definitely going to be seeing more villains this season, both old, like Penguin and Riddler, and new, like Tigress, portrayed by Jessica Lucas.
The new season appears to amp up the mayhem and criminal chaos Gotham City is famous for, and we can’t wait to watch it.
Gotham season two premieres September 21, on Fox.
