Swedish developer Avalanche Studios announced by means of a Game Informer cover that Just Cause 3 is in development and coming to Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC in 2015. This will be a highly anticipated follow up to 2010’s Just Cause 2.
Game Informer editors played the game for several hours, and report that that its parachute and grapple mechanics have been improved. There is also a brand-new wingsuit. As far as setting backdrop goes, Just Cause 3 will take place in a fictional Mediterranean archipelago.
Just Cause 3 is in development at Avalanche’s New York City office. 2015 will be a big year for Avalanche, as the developer also plans to launch Mad Max for consoles and PC next year.
