So this means we can expect Beauty and the Beast co-star Emma Watson to play Batgirl, right?
[dropcap size=small]B[/dropcap]ack in May Beauty and the Beast star Josh Gad tweeted a photo of Penguin with no caption to go with it. The ensuing rumors and theories from fans were enormous and all has been quiet since then, until now. Josh Gad posted a photo to Twitter yesterday showing him holding a Batman comic with Penguin on the cover. Standing with the actor are DC Films presidents Geoff Johns and Jon Berg, the caption said “Nothing to see here…”
At this point, it definitely looks like Josh Gad will be taking on the role of Penguin. Whether or not it will be a live-action film or an animated film remains to be seen. With superhero films being all the hype these days we’d be willing to bet that a live-action film is in the works. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
