It sure looks like J.K. Simmons is set to play one very buff Commissioner Gordon.
[dropcap size=small]Z[/dropcap]ach Snyder’s upcoming go at a Justice League movie – which is due for release next year – will see the return of Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot as their superhero selves, but one actor in the billing is pushing his physical limits into overdrive.
Whiplash actor J.K. Simmons is set to play Commissioner Gordon, and apparently this Commissioner is going to be very buff indeed. The 61 year-old actor has recently been seen working hard in the gym thanks to fitness pro Aaron Williamson (via io9), and is looking every bit in shape with some vein popping muscles on display:
With Simmons getting this pumped up, you can’t help but wonder what Commissioner Gordon will get up to in the upcoming DC flick with the Justice League.
The Crave twitter account also posted J.K. working the weights, making us all the more intrigued about Gordon’s upcoming shenanigans.
