A former Square Enix game designer’s LinkedIn page divulges new details on upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles.
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]f you recall Square Enix’s showing back in June a supposed game called Kingdom Hearts 2.9 made a surprising and short lived appearance. Until now, no details have emerged regarding the game but the game designer’s profile has revealed surprising information regarding not only Kingdom Hearts 2.9, but Kingdom Hearts 3 as well.
Judging from the game designer’s profile, it seems that the former employee of Square Enix worked on either Kingdom Hearts 2.9 or Kingdom Hearts 3 features. These features include evising a plan for the the addition of the Gummi Ship, as well as “multiplayer planning and documentation”. Not only that, but apparently the game designer was involved in meetings with both Disney and Pixar, further proving that the properties from both parties could make an appearance in the game(s).
Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts 3 will not be making a schedule appearance at the Tokyo Game Show next week. Don’t worry though, Square Enix is holding a secret event on September 19th. Hopefully more information regarding both Kingdom Hearts 2.9 and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be revealed.
